ZOË’S PLACE BABY HOSPICE
Wow - what a lovely visit today meeting the staff and some of the children at Zoe's Place Baby Hospice in Normanby today.
I was blown away by how lovely a place this is for children with additional needs, providing that respite support for families caring for them.
Whether it was in the main part of the hospice, or the gardens around, you can tell how much love and care goes into providing somewhere where people are happy to bring their children.
Growing up on Teesside - I’d heard of Zoë’s Place and even remember doing some fundraising for them when I was younger - so it was lovely to visit today and see how they help people first hand.
Zoë’s Place is a charity, like most hospices, and relies on the generosity and support of people donating towards their work - and next year they celebrate 20 years of being here caring for countless children in that time.
