THANK YOU ERIC & JUNE 
In my job, every day I meet people who work incredibly hard for their community - they don’t always shout and scream about it, they just get on and do it.
Eric Howden is one of those people. He has given decades of service to the Redcar Royal British Legion in our area, helping organise our remembrance and armed forces events, as well as supporting our veterans locally.
And so I wanted to say thank you from all of us.
It was a great experience to be able to take Eric and his wife June to Downing Street and for the Prime Minister to say thank you to them both personally.
A simple gesture, but one I know meant a lot to Eric.
