Today, Jacob visited the Cenotaph in South Bank to meet with Cllr Sandra Smith.
Sandra has worked with knitters to create 381 poppies - a poppy for each name on the cenotaph - ahead of remembrance next weekend.
Each of the poppies are different and have been made by people from across our area, and as far as Scarborough.
Jacob would like to say "Well done to Sandra, and all the poppy knitters for this brilliant effort"
