Jacob Young MP was able to raise the urgent issue of the thousands of crustaceans washed ashore on Redcar & Marske beaches in the House of Commons tonight.
The fisheries minister confirmed she will work with me and commission urgent research into what is causing this problem.
The Environment Agency are currently investigating this, and once they get the results back from the lab, hopefully we will know more.
