This morning, the local MP Jacob Young joined a community team - led by Les Harper and local councillors - for a clean-up of Eston Cemetery.
In all, the group managed to collect around 20 bags of rubbish and started some work on restoring graves.
Posting about the project on social media, Jacob called it: "An amazing community spirit."
