Today, the Country received the sad news that HRH, The Duke of Edinburgh has passed away.
Paying his respects to Prince Philip, Jacob Young MP for Redcar stated:
"I am so sorry to hear of the death of HRH Prince Philip.
Prince Philip has stood shoulder to shoulder with our Queen for more than seven decades and has helped our Country through some of its darkest days.
My thoughts are with HM The Queen, and the Royal Family as they begin to grieve the loss of a Husband, Father, Grandfather.
Our nation has lost a loyal servant. May he rest in peace.
