Today, the Redcar MP Jacob Young, paid a visit to Astune Rise Care Home in Eston to judge the residents' Easter crafts.
Jacob witnessed first hand the use of their new visitors' pod and was able to get to know both the residents and the team there.
Posting on social media, Jacob stated: "It doesn't make up for face-to-face contact, but it was lovely to see them and hear some of their questions - and to thank their amazing care workers too."
