Today, Jacob Young MP for Redcar posted his thoughts on the actions that are needed locally to protect the area of Eston Hills.
Following a meeting with Councillors and council representatives, Jacob said they were considering a number of different solutions to tackle the issue of cars and quad bikes driving onto the hills via illegal routes. One of these solutions included using large blocks to prevent vehicular access.
Last week, 10 burnt out cars had to be removed from the hills by the Local Council.
Jacob says he is, "committed to working with the Council and Cleveland Police to stop people wrecking our Hills."
