Meeting Cleveland Bridge this morning to discuss their operations across the Tees Valley and the critical work which will be needed on the new Teesworks site.
Cleveland Bridge is a partner of Dorman Long and have made iconic bridges around the world... including this one behind me. They also work on bridge rehabilitation, as well as large steel structures and buildings.
We discussed the need for more local content in Government contracts - particularly with HS2 where we should be buying British at every opportunity.
It’s great to have their knowledge and experience still operating here in the Tees Valley.
