Enjoyed meeting the Friends of Redcar Cemetery today.
They are a fantastic group of volunteers who look after Redcar Town’s cemetery, servicing the memorials and keeping it tidy.
The group was established 16 years ago and has grown from strength to strength with more than 40 regular attendees.
You just need to spend 5 minutes in there to see the impact the group has had, with their name on all of the memorials around the area.
The group meet every Tuesday 10am - 12pm at the entrance to the grounds.
