"The Scottish Government are jeopardising investment in the UK by refusing to back gas exploration in the North Sea.
Everyone knows I fully support our Net Zero 2050 goals…
But in the meantime we have to accept our current energy mix, which relies on gas.
And even when we get to 2050, we will still need oil & gas - for hydrogen production and for the chemical and petrochemical industry.
The SNP and Green coalition in Scotland is not only jeopardising jobs there, but oil & gas workers here too… and Labour are silent.
