We’re finally demolishing these old buildings through the towns fund… £25 Million investment the Government is putting into Redcar town centre to breathe new life into it.
They’re removing a lot of the old signage next week, and then later this month, the roofs of the buildings will start to come off.
Everyone always used to say to me that Redcar High Street died the day M&S left. That’s why I was so keen to see us move forward.
My hope is the day we see the old M&S finally demolished, is the day Redcar high street begins its new beginning.
