Zetland Lifeboat Museum, based on Redcar esplanade, will be officially reopening to the public tomorrow - 21st May.
Jacob Young MP paid them a visit on Sunday, ahead of this opening, to see the site and chat to the team.
The museum is home to the world's oldest surviving lifeboat, 'The Zetland' - which saved 500 lives at sea.
Jacob stated: "This museum is a fantastic asset for our area but also for the Tees Valley and we should do more to shout about it."
"It was a privilege to sign their visitor book, as the first visitor since November 2019."
