Out in a rainy Eston Square today talking to some of our great local businesses.
Some of them were able to stay open during the lockdown and change their working practices, others had to shut up shop completely and it was a difficult few months.
One common theme was how Eston Square has changed in recent years and now has a lot more takeaways then other types of business and its missing the pull factor to get people using the shops again.
I’m not sure what the answer is, and there won’t be a single silver bullet to solve the issue. Let me know what you think Eston Square needs in the comments.
