This is what I’ve been working for in TS6.
£20 MILLION OF INVESTMENT COMING TO OUR AREA.
Money for ESTON SQUARE and for ESTON BATHS.
My thanks to the ministers, Ben Houchen and the Council for helping us get this over the line. Including TS6 Councillor Paul Salvin and Mary Lanigan for their help.
The redevelopment of Eston Square is something that has been promised to the people of TS6 for decades, and I’m so happy that under the Conservatives we’ve now been able to deliver it.
To see the left behind communities like Eston, Normanby and South Bank, finally recognised by the corridors of power and given the recognition they deserve is what I have worked for since day one in this job.
We now need to ensure this £20 million is spent properly, and the first thing I’m asking the Council to do is relook at their plans for Eston Baths and include a learner pool in the designs.
This alongside the confirmation of the Levelling Up Partnership, and the investment in new green industry coming here, proves that we remain committed to levelling up in our region and the transformation of Teesside.
