Today, Jacob Young met with Cleveland's new Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) - Steve Turner.
The two met to discuss Steve's future plans for the force and the changes he's hoping to implement. His plans include working with local clubs and charities to do outreach work, whilst 'putting the pride back in Cleveland Police.'
Since 2019, Cleveland has benefitted from 185 new officers. The MP says that working with Steve, more will come.
Posting on social media, Jacob stated: "I've worked closely with Steve for a number of years, and he's absolutely the right man for this role to bring about the change we need to see."
