Today, Jacob Young paid a visit to the SSI Sinter Plant site at the former steelworks in the Redcar constituency.
He was able to witness some of the newer improvements made to the site, as well as chat about it's heritage and legacy.
Jacob later said: "The Teesworks team are transforming this landscape to bring the jobs of the future our area needs and it's so exciting to see it in motion."
