Last night, Jacob Young spoke in the House of Commons in favour of the newly announced Freeport for Teesside.
Jacob argues that the Freeport will protect current industry jobs, as well as bring 18,000 new jobs over the next 5 years.
He stated: "We've already had the announcement of over 2000 jobs coming to the site with GE's new Offshore Wind Factory."
"In Teesside we led the Industrial Revolution. Now we will take on the new challenge of leading our Green Industrial Revolution."
