ARRIVA 62 BUS SERVICE ROUTE CHANGE
Recent changes to the Arriva 62 Service have altered the route of travel through New Marske.
The new route - which was approved by Redcar & Cleveland Council - sees the service travel along Grewgrass Lane instead of Gurney Street, as was previously the case.
Through contact with residents, I understand that there are concerns that the introduction of a bus route along Grewgrass Lane may present an issue for motorists due to the narrowness of the road.
My office has spoken with Arriva about the possible repercussions of this change. As a result, Arriva has agreed to keep the 62 Service under review and revert back to the old route if it is deemed appropriate.
